It may sound like an exaggeration, but the Artemisia Winter CSA has brought so much joy into my life and has been one of my new favorite things about living in Rappahannock. I have never liked cooking and since moving to the area I have tried to get to the Farmer's Market to buy local produce but often times would just get the same things I would normally buy at the grocery store, or sadly just miss the hours, so I was excited when I found the Artemisia CSA delivery. The CSA box has become this fun adventure - I look forward to the delivery because there's always produce I would never think to cook and get SO excited for the recipes. Every time I get a box I make it my goal to cook and prepare everything that comes inside and have been successful thanks to the beginner friendly and delicious recipes provided through the membership. I have yet to cook up something that has not been delicious and as a new comer eating locally makes me feel more connected to my new home. My favorite new vegetable has been the celeriac - it looks like a creature from Harry Potter - but turned it into a soup and it was so delicious! Thanks for offering the membership, I am so grateful to you for how fun you have made the CSA.
